Date Participants and Packages Announced for the upcoming 'Date 2 Remember' charity auction and fashion show

'A Date 2 Remember' is an annual date auction and fashion show for charity, presented by the CYP CLUB (Columbus Young Professionals Club). All proceeds raised from the event will benefit TWO local non-profit organizations; A Kid Again and the Capital Area Humane Society. Last year more than 600 attended the event, which raised more than $25,000 for charity. Tickets are on sale now!

Before the event we would like for you to meet our bachelors and bachelorettes, and get a sneak preview of a few of the unbelievable date packages in store for you to bid on and win!

Justin Zwick is our "Buckeye Bachelor." An orthopaedics trauma sales rep. with Smith & Nephew, Justin played quarterback for Ohio State from 2002-2006. Justin's date package is The Buckeye Cruise Package; a ticket aboard the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, setting sail on February 25 – March 1, 2010 from Tampa, FL on Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Seas for 5-days and 4-nights. Over 20 former OSU athletes and coaches will also be aboard, along with thousands of fellow Buckeye fans! Fun Fact: I sat on Shamu at Sea World when I was 4.

Jennie DeMarco is currently completing an MA in Early Childhood Education & Licensure in Deaf Education. Jennie's package is a Motorcycle Lover's Dream Date; a motorcycle license (for 2 people - $700 value), motorcycle rental & overnight hotel stay in Polaris, Motorcycle rental and overnight hotel stay in Cleveland, $50 gift certificate to Quaker Steak & Lube, and tickets to the International Motorcyle Show. Craziest Job you've ever had: In high school, I worked at a local ice cream shop, Mister T’s Wonder Freeze.

Travis Ousley is an EMT at The Ohio State University E.R. Travis' date package is The OSU Package; a private lunch for two with OSU running back legend, Archie Griffin, at Eddie George's 27 Grille. Transportation to lunch will be provided by Ringers Limousine, and as an added bonus, Mr. Griffin will provide an autographed football as part of the package. Fun Fact: I used to race professional Motocross. I have 23 broken bones, 19 pins, and 14 surgeries to prove it.

Ariana Lowe is employed at the MyCareer Resource Center at Nationwide. Ariana's date package is a special night with the Columbus Blue Jackets, complete with a team-autographed hockey stick and a Zamboni ride for two. Before or after the game, you can stop by Sushi Rock to enjoy dinner and drinks. Craziest Job you've ever had: That would be my volunteer work with the Red Cross Disaster Action Team... responding to house fires.

Jarod Wolford is a consultant for Old Castle Materials. Jarod's date package includes four (4) 50-Yard Line Club Level seats to the 2010 Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins football game, along with an Overnight Stay at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Craziest Job you've ever had: I cleaned horse stalls.

Jacqueline Atherine works in the talent acquisition department at Nationwide. Jacqueline's date package includes an Ozone Zip-line Adventure for 2, a pair of passes to Kings Island, dinner for 2 to Chinnati's, and an overnight stay at Great Wolfe Lodge. Fun Fact: The love of my life is a one-eyed furry monster with one tooth... my dog, Jojo!

Santosh Nachu is vice president of a non-profit organization called Engineers Without Borders. Santosh's date package, The Zoo Package; includes six (6) behind-the-scenes passes to the Columbus Zoo and an EXCLUSIVE meet-and-greet with Jungle Jack Hanna. You'll also score a pair of tickets to Zoombezi Bay water park at the Zoo. Fun Fact: I am a member of the first-ever Columbus Australian Rules Football team.

Erin Harper is an event planner. Erin's date package is The Celebration Package; Comes with a DJ Service to get the party started, a photographer to capture the fun memories, a videographer so you can catch your friends singing after a few cocktails, and a Photo Booth as instant proof of your crazy night! Funny Fact: I sometimes snort when I laugh.

Robert Moorman is an attorney and amateur musician. Robert's date package is The Cleveland Rocks Package, including two Cleveland Indians ticket with autographed items, a dinner for two at the Macaroni Grill, and an overnight stay for two at Marriott Cleveland. Craziest Job your ever had: Golf course maintenance.

Dianna Williams is a web designer at AFS Web/At First Site Inc. Dianna's date package is The Learn to Fly Package; with introductory flight lessons for two and a Segway city tour for four! Fun Fact: I tried out for Jeopardy! and missed getting on the show by one spot.

Michael Johnson is a chemical engineer/brewing manager at Anheuser-Busch, Inc. Details on his date package are coming soon... Fun Fact: I ran my first marathon in Las Vegas in December '09.

Susan Bermingham is a nurse practitioner at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Susan's date package is The Golfer's Dream Package; a round of golf at Muirfield for two, round of golf at Little Turtle for four, professional golf lessons for two, a golf basket, and a $75 gift card to Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. Craziest Job you've ever had: I used to work at Little Caesar's Pizza.

Jose Zacatelco is business development manager at Pepsi-Cola. Jose's date package is The Pampered Package; a champagne-stocked limo ride to Charles Penzone's Polaris Grand Salon for a relaxing spa night in a big fluffy robe, a couples massage and facial, then hair and makeup, followed by a candlelight dinner for two in their relaxation dining room. Fun Fact: I have an accent, "RRRRRR".

Lindsay Brammer is a state representative for Richard Reyes State Farm Insurance. Lindsay's date package is The Easton Extravaganza Package; including four passes to Miracles & Magic with Bar, and overnight stay for two at the Columbus Hilton at Easton, four Passes to the Funny Bone Comedy Club, and a $400 gift certificate to dine at Smith & Wollensky. Fun Fact: I am a huge Ohio State football fan. I LOVE football.

Daniel Tackett is a professional ballroom dance competitor and instructor. Details on his date package are coming soon... Fun Fact: I am virtually indestructible... hit by a van, fallen out of a moving car, tore side of my face. All three were separate events with no long-term effect.
