Register Today for the CYP CLUB Summer Sand Volleyball League
The CYP CLUB will be fielding 30 co-rec Sand Volleyball teams at Flannagan's in Dublin for the Summer season. Teams will play (best of) three games on Mondays at 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, 9:15 or 10:15 (all times pm).
This year, we're going to field three full courts with 30 teams! Two of these courts will be reserved for recreational teams, and one will be reserved for more competitive teams. When you register, please let us know which court you would like to play on: RECREATIONAL or COMPETITIVE under "Desired Position". If you do not select a court, you will automatically be placed on a recreational court.
The season will begin Monday, May 10th and run for ten weeks. Teams will consist of 8-9 players and 6 will start. The cost is $45 per person and includes a CYP CLUB T-shirt/uniform. Registration and Payment will only be accepted online.
Deadline for registration is Friday, April 9th - or when we fill 30 teams, so hurry up and register.
Spring Wine Tastings - Dates and Details Announced!
Join us for one of two Spring Wine Tastings with the CYP CLUB - presented on two nights for greater flexibility. You get to choose which night you want to attend. It's a great way to meet other young professionals in a social, casual setting.
Mix, mingle, and enjoy an evening of wine tasting in the Short North. The event includes admission, seven tastes, light appetizers, an offer towards a future wine-making experience at Camelot Cellars, and a full bottle of wine to take home that evening.
Half-price tickets available for CYP CLUB members to the Miracles & Magic Opening Night Party
This Friday, March 19th, experience a night of up-close illusions, comedy, music and surprises in an exciting atmosphere of food, drink and social interaction at the Miracles & Magic: Opening Night Party! All proceeds benefit A Kid Again, a local nonprofit that strives to enrich the lives of children with life threatening illnesses and their families by providing year-round, fun-filled group activities and destination events.
Guests will enjoy tasty hors d'oeuvres, a three-hour open bar of beer, wine and the signature "magical" martini, and endless entertainment.
A Kid Again is offering half-price tickets for all CYP CLUB members and other area young professionals at $50 (normally $100). To purchase tickets, visit www.miraclesandmagic.com. Please let them know you found out through the CYP CLUB! Tickets will also be available at the door.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the fun begins immediately!
Come to the St. Baldrick's Foundation charity social this Saturday from 1-4pm to get a sample beer as a CYP CLUB member!
It's a day-long festival of music, socializing and fundraising on Saturday, March 13th at Fadó Irish Pub in Easton Town Center, kicking off with the St. Baldrick's Foundation Charity Social from 1:00-4:00pm. Join with other CYP CLUB members and the central Ohio community (in a large, heated tent) to help in the fight against children's cancer.
There is no need to register online and no cost to attend! Just show up to the event between 1-4pm AND stop by the CYP CLUB booth to get your complimentary beer sample! On Saturday, March 13th, a "world of possibilities" awaits you... Journey to the most exotic regions on the planet - Africa, East Asia, Polynesia and Latin America - all in one amazing and dynamic night at COSI's Imagination Celebration 2010! Traditional Moroccan drummers, island fire spinners, and an Asian dragon procession will transport you to foreign lands, while alluring Salsa, ribbon and stick dancers will dazzle you and sweep you off your feet. Enjoy delightful and exotic cuisine, an endless bar of your favorite and unusual beverages and the opportunity to bid on some of the city's best silent and live auctions.
Beyond the fun and entertainment of the evening, COSI's Imagination Celebration serves a much greater purpose; proceeds from the gala help COSI provide an exciting and informative atmosphere for those of all ages to grow, explore, question and connect to real science, real scientists, and real potential to change the world.
