Join us for our "Know Your Legal Rights" Panel and Networking Reception on June 23

Have you ever had a question about what (if any) legal problems you might encounter when posting a note or photo on a friend's Facebook wall? Or wondered what taxes you might have to pay after winning a door prize at a networking event or through a big giveaway?

Ever thought about what constitutes a "binding contract," especially if you signed something over email versus on paper?

What about all the "fine print" of your credit card terms? Or if you can be held liable if someone slips when visiting your home? And what about estate planning, wills, conflict resolution, real estate, or starting a new business?

Join us as the CYP CLUB hosts a "Know Your Legal Rights" Panel and Networking Reception on Wednesday, June 23rd at Capital University Law School in downtown Columbus. This is your chance to find out some great information that can help you and ask some local experts YOUR questions!

About the Event:
We are partnering with Capital University Law School for a great night of networking and professional development to help CYP CLUB members learn about their legal rights and obligations in the areas of estate planning, taxes, small business, social media, conflict resolution, technology, and real estate. There will be a panel of four attorneys who will explain our legal rights and obligations to help us with issues in both our personal and professional lives. The panel will be led by CYP CLUB Networking Director Rob Davlin and Event Ambassador Greg Daugherty.

The Panelists (and Topic Areas):
• Scot Dewhirst, co-director for Capital University's Center for Dispute Resolution (Estate Planning)
• Joe Grant, Associate Professor of Law (Small Business)
• Jackie L. Hager, Attorney at Carlile Patchen & Murphy (Real Estate, Taxation)
• Jeremy Logsdon, Attorney at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur (Social Media, Technology)

5:30 - 6:30pm Registration and Open Networking

7:30 - 7:45pm Questions from the audience
7:45 - 8:00pm Closing/Networking

The cost to attend this event is just $5 online or $10 at the door. There will be delicious hors d'oeuvres for attendees to enjoy along with a cash bar and great networking with other CYP CLUB members. Attire is business or business casual. Join us!
