CYP CLUB members are invited to a special event presented by the Columbus Metropolitan Club with support from the CYP CLUB: "Generational Leadership: Defining Moment in Time..." featuring Chuck Underwood, founder and principal of TGI. Mr. Underwood is a seminal scholar in generational study with more than two decades of research and front-line application for business strategy and implementation.

You are invited to a special networking panel event as part of the Ohio Young Professionals Weekend. We've assembled a panel of leaders from across Ohio representing Government, Business, Non-Profit, Media and Education to offer their perspective on "The Impact of YPs in Ohio."
The Panelists:

Are you looking to build your business network in a professional AND fun atmosphere? Join the CYP CLUB for our monthly Coffee Shot™ Series - always hosted on the third Wednesday of the month, with a new networking activity or presentation each month. This month's activity is Networking BINGO!
What is Networking BINGO? This is an activity that helps members get to know each other a little better and network a little easier. Everyone will receive a BINGO card when they check in with a set time period to meet as many people as you can to try to get a BINGO. Attendees must get other members to initial each box (each person can only initial one box) depending upon what is asked in each BINGO box. For example, "Find someone in the financial industry," or "Find someone who has lived in Columbus their entire life." This continues until three people call "BINGO." The first person to get a confirmed "BINGO" will win a special prize. REGISTER NOW.

Tonight is the Volunteer Info Fair, 4:30-8:30pm
Do you want to give back to the community? Are you looking for a local volunteer opportunity? Or have you ever wondered how to get involved on a non-profit board? Find it all at the CYP CLUB's Volunteer Info Fair 2010 on Wednesday, August 11th from 4:30-8:30pm at the Hilton Columbus at Easton!
This is a FREE EVENT to attend, with plenty of social networking opportunities, nearly 50 non-profits represented, complimentary appetizers (while they last), a cash bar, DJ, and giveaways every 30 minutes. There will be a suggested donation at the door - 100% of which will go to a charity present at this event - selected by a drawing. Don't miss it!
The event is geared toward community-minded young professionals throughout central Ohio, however ALL Columbus-area residents are welcome to attend.
New this year, we will be offering attendees a 15-minute special presentation on "The Importance of Volunteerism in the Community," delivered by Dr. Terry Boyd, the Associate Dean for Academic Programs at Franklin University, and who has filled several positions with the City of Columbus. This presentation will occur in the ballroom from 5:30-5:45pm. Serving as co-host and DJ for this event will be Mark Dantzer of Mix 107.9FM!

Join us for Money Night on 8/10 at Easton
You're invited to join the CYP CLUB and Innova Financial Group at "Money Night with the CYP CLUB" on Tuesday, August 10th at The Dining Room at the Hilton Columbus at Easton. It will be a professional and fun evening out at Easton Town Center where you, as young professionals, can talk to and learn from local experts about money topics, such as 401Ks, Credit Cards, Mortgage, Taxes, Investments, and more.
Cost is $5 online or $10 at the door, which includes the program, networking opportunities, and pizza from 6-6:30pm. It will be a casual atmosphere with a short presentation. Business or business casual attire.

Sorry gang, but due to the forecast of inclement weather (rain and thunderstorms), we have decided to move this Wednesday's outdoor Networking Cook-Out event to Wednesday, August 25th instead.
