October Events and Activities with the CYP CLUB

For those of you looking for some great social, professional, cultural, athletic, and philanthropic activities this October, the CYP CLUB has got it all.

We'll kick off October with a promotion and presence at 'A Taste of Grandview Heights' on Sunday, October 3rd, followed by our Speaker Networking Breakfast (monthly topic: "How Paying it Forward Pays you Back") on Tuesday, October 5th, and a Culture Series group outing to see 'Berlin to Broadway,' with Opera Columbus and Outlook Columbus on Thursday, October 7th and Friday, October 8th. You'll have two chances to see this spectacular show and get invited to a private, pre-show reception at the historic Lincoln Theatre on either night!

Then we'll kick it up a notch with a Movie Night & Happy Hour to see 'The Social Network' on Monday, October 11th at the Arena Grand Theatre just a few days before our BIG social event of the Fall, the CYP CLUB Fall Member Mixer at Park Street Cantina on Wednesday, October 13th!

Back to networking, we'll host a Speed Networking Breakfast at TechColumbus on Wednesday, October 20th and, later that evening, a philanthropic beer tasting in partnership with COSI called 'Brews and a View.' The following night, join us for our first ever Pumpkin Carving Contest in Dublin on Thursday, October 21st.

Rounding out the month on Thursday, October 28th will be our wildly popular group dance lessons with Fred Astaire Dance Studios... where you can Learn Michael Jackson's Thriller just in time for Halloween.

For those of you looking to volunteer, we are working with Keep Columbus Beautiful to send them some help for 'Plant Pride on Parsons' (10/16) and we'll again be working with the Short North to grab a few volunteers for Highball Halloween (10/30).
