Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Honors Local Visionaries
Six individuals who have brought new vision and shape to their respective worlds are being honored by the Central Ohio Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) and the Columbus Young Professionals Club.

The "Celebrating Visionaries" Awards and Gala, benefiting the CFF, will commence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4 at the Creekside Event & Conference Center in Gahanna.

This isn't your typical awards show, says Susan Deutschle, Executive Director of the Central Ohio Chapter of the CFF.

CYP CLUB is recognized as Best Networking Organization, Derek Grosso is Best Community Leader
For the third year in a row, the CYP CLUB has been recognized as "Best Networking Organization" at the Columbus CEO Magazine's Best of Business 2011 Awards event. Representing the CYP CLUB at the Scioto Country Club were Anish Mistry, Derek Grosso, Lisa Hunt, Chris Ortleib, and Rob Davlin.

CYP CLUB President/CEO & Founder Derek Grosso was also honored as "Best Community Leader!"

CityPulse: New Columbus Art Walks signs to be unveiled in Discovery District
Columbus Art Walks was developed in September 2010 as part of Columbus Public Health's 'Healthy Places Program' to create built environments that encourage physical activity in every day life to help prevent obesity. The initiative features more than 80 artistic, historical and architectural sites in nine unique Columbus neighborhoods.

At 2pm on Monday, October 17th (at the corner of Gay Street and Cleveland Avenue), Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, Council Member Priscilla Tyson, and Columbus Public Health Commissioner Dr. Teresa Long will unveil new Columbus Art Walks signs - highlighting 26 of the 80 points of interest in the Discovery District – to promote active living.
