CYP CLUB Embraces the Spirit of the Season
The holidays are quickly approaching ... and with them comes food, gifts, parties and more.
Of course, this time of year isn't so festive for everyone. Many folks in Central Ohio are out of work, trying to make ends meet and can't get into the "holly jolly" spirit so easily.
But you can help change that with three upcoming philanthropic activities with your CYP CLUB friends.
Saturday, November 26th
The Salvation Army is reaching out again with their annual "Christmas Cheer" campaign by giving away gifts, toys and more. And they need your help. This is your opportunity to truly embrace the holiday spirit and make a real impact on real people. Click here and find this year's event for volunteer opportunities.
Last year, the community came together and helped the Salvation Army assist more than 6,200 families, which accounts for more than 23,000 people. More than 9,200 toys were given to excited boys and girls. Not only that, but every household was supplied with Christmas dinner ... including chicken, eggs, milk and butter.
KEEPIN' THE FAITH
Friday, December 9th
Save the date for a collaborative social event and clothing drive with UCT (United Commercial Travelers) and the CYP CLUB at Bar 23 in the Short North on December 9th from 5-9pm. We're looking to fill a truck with new and gently used winter clothes to donate to Faith Mission. Check back at www.cypclub.com/events or www.facebook.com/uctevents for updates and details!
CYP CLUB HOLIDAY PARTY
Tuesday, December 13th
Join us in celebrating the holiday season and the end of another great year with the CYP CLUB! Network and socialize with CYP CLUB members and friends at KDB Easton in Easton Town Center. All are welcome to attend. And in the spirit of the holiday season, we're inviting our friends from the Networking Leaders Alliance to share in the fun!
As an 'admission fee,' we will be collecting new toys at the door to donate to Franklin County Children Services. Click here to find out more about this event.
Let's join together and see what kind of impact we can make this year ... and spread holiday cheer to many families throughout Central Ohio.
