Final week to register for Summer Sand Volleyball II
Just a quick reminder to all those interested that the deadline to register for Summer Sand Volleyball, Session II is THIS FRIDAY (July 1), so don't delay.

We have two leagues available:

• MONDAY nights in our RECREATIONAL LEAGUE at Flannagan's Dublin

• TUESDAY nights in our 4-ON-4 LEAGUE at the VolleyPark at Sequoia

CYP CLUB Member Interview: Stefanie Marshall
Stefanie Marshall, 28, is a High School Guidance Counselor who grew up in Pickerington before moving to South Bend, Indiana to attend college at the University of Notre Dame. She returned to Ohio to attain a graduate degree at the University of Dayton, then moved back to Columbus, where she resides in the Mill Run area.

She is active with the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Columbus and the Capital City Half Marathon, and she's been a CYP CLUB member since 2006. Meet Stefanie Marshall...

CYP CLUB Supports the Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic on June 26. Volunteers Needed!
The CYP CLUB is proud to announce its support of the 19th Annual Tour de Grandview Cycling Classic, one of central Ohio's premier summer entertainment events. This outstanding event features pro racing, Kids' Sprints, Celebrity Sprints, and a street party featuring three live bands, food and drink. It's a pedal-powered party!!! CYP CLUB Member Interview: Amanda Thomas
Amanda Thomas, 31, is Marketing and Business Development Manager at Members First Credit Union where she works to leverage networking, social media, and marketing strategies to grow the membership of the credit union.

Originally from Urbana, OH, she now calls the Hilliard area home, is active with the Children's Miracle Network, Cbusr, and the Central Ohio Chapter of Credit Unions, and she's been a CYP CLUB member since 2006. Meet Amanda Thomas...

CYP CLUB Member Interview: Andrew Murphy
Andrew Murphy, (hopefully young enough to qualify!), is Operation Feed Campaign Manager at the Mid-Ohio Foodbank where he manages an annual drive that raises millions of meals to support food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in central and eastern Ohio.

Hailing from Columbus, he also coordinates the Foodbank's volunteer-based Marketing Committee and Operation YP (a young professionals group) - which both offer support for Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Andrew will be cycling 180 miles to support Pelotonia 2011, and he's been a CYP CLUB member since 2009. Meet Andrew Murphy...

Why should you support this Saturday's Fred Astaire/CYP CLUB Dance Showcase: The American Dream, a fundraiser for A Kid Again? One reason: A Kid Again changes lives. I know because I was a founding child of the organization.

In 1995, one year after I was diagnosed with Leukemia, my doctors told me about A Kid Again.

You DO NOT want to miss The American Dream - THIS SATURDAY at the Bluestone (formerly BoMA) from 7-10pm! Witness more than a dozen different choreographed dance and vocal performances including:

• Our own president, Derek Grosso, will be performing a special dance number choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Jonathan Roberts that you do not want to miss.
• Angela An and Danielle Elias from 10TV will be featured in two vocal duets.
• Come support CYP CLUB member and A Kid Again alumnus/survivor, Carolyn Koncal, as well as 8-year-old A Kid Again kid, Hannah Byers!

CYP CLUB Supports the 2011 Arthritis Auto Show on July 8-9 in Dublin, Ohio. Volunteers Needed!
The CYP CLUB is proud to announce its support of the 2011 Arthritis Auto Show, one of the largest and prestigious auto shows in the country. Volunteers are needed to help make the show a success again this year and help raise money to fight a horrible, debilitating disease.

The two-day show welcomes more than 2,000 cars from old Model As, to vintage and modern muscle cars, to the latest Lamborghinis and Ferraris.

Volunteer at 'The American Dream,' June 18
This Saturday, June 18th is the Fred Astaire/CYP CLUB Charity Dance Showcase - 'The American Dream' - at The Bluestone (formerly Boma). The event will be hosted at 583 E. Broad Street in downtown Columbus and will benefit A Kid Again. Your help is needed as a volunteer!

We are asking all interested volunteers to email Diana Lee at dlee@akidagain.org no later than Friday, June 17th. Volunteers will need to arrive at The Bluestone by 6:15p.m. the day of the show for a short meeting and to advise everyone of their responsibilities for the evening.

An Evening with Saks is a cocktail party and runway show featuring patients and physicians from Ohio State's Ross Heart Hospital as well as local celebrities. RSVP required.

Check out Mynt Ultralounge in the Arena District on Friday, June 10 for a special vodka release event - featuring free cocktails and free food!

Admission is free, so make sure to come out to Park Street Festival for a great weekend June 10-11.
