Volunteerism Matters
By Liz Thiel, CYP CLUB Philanthropy Director

In a world of hustle and bustle, where everyone seems out to advance themselves beyond others, it's nice to take a step back and be selfless. That is what I get out of volunteering.

It's that lighthearted feeling of joy that I get when I have served someone or something else that will somehow impact our community. It's the look on people's faces when you have overwhelmed them with giving hands and hearts to make their lives a little easier, if even for a day.

Visionaries are people with a story… Nominate one today
Visionaries are inspired to do something in a radically different way and they go for it….big time. It's not necessarily where they work or what they do that makes their stories so compelling. It's that elusive "vision thing" – the uncanny ability to see possibilities the average person can't even imagine.

Six dynamic men and women age 40 and under will be honored at "Celebrating Visionaries," an event collaboration between the CYP CLUB and the Cysytic Fibrosis Foundation on November 4th at Creekside Conference & Event Center in Gahanna.

Submit your online nomination by July 31.
