Charity Spotlight Round-up: Highball Halloween and HandsOn Central Ohio

Highball Halloween will be celebrating their 5th anniversary on Saturday, October 27, 2012 on High Street, directly outside the Convention Center (between Goodale St. in the Short North Arts District and Nationwide Blvd. in Arena District).

Highball organizers are looking for volunteers to assist artists, sell drink tickets, assist at entry gates, and to make sure production goes smoothly. Various shifts are available and volunteers will enjoy free parking, pizza from Donatos, drinks, and a Short North thank you bag. Those volunteering for the 3rd shift will receive an extra Short North swag bag in addition to the regular thank you bag. HandsOn Central Ohio is looking for volunteers to take pictures at several of their projects and events around Columbus. You do not have to be a professional photographer, but you will need to have a digital camera to upload the photos to HandsOn staff members.
