x2010 CYP CLUB Summer Sand Volleyball Tournament

The CYP CLUB is hosting our first-ever Sand Volleyball Tournament this summer on Saturday, July 31st at The VolleyPark at Sequoia!

You can sign up as a team - 6 will be needed to play (but you can have as many players as you want on your team) - for just $150 per team thru July 25th and $200 per team after July 25th. Team captains will need to sign up online and pay the team fee in order to register. Team rosters do not need to be finalized until one week prior to playing. All teams should be co-ed, with at least 2 females playing on the court at all times.

Each team is guaranteed to play 5 games throughout the tournament (with scoring to 21). There will be a total of 18 teams who will play, with 6 teams on each court.

Schedule of Play:
8:30-9:30am Warm-up and registration
10:00am First games of the tournament will begin
3:00pm Semi-finals/Finals

The team on each court with the best standings after 5 games played will go on to the semi-finals against other court champions, with a wild-card team thrown in.

Please email Christian Tharp, CYP CLUB Tournaments Coordinator, at tournaments@cypclub.com if you'd like to sign up and pay $35 as an individual to be placed on a team as a "free agent." Limited spots are available.

Top teams will be awarded great local prize packages and volleyball t-shirts, plus bragging rights!

There will also be music, cornhole, food (with items priced at $1-$5), and drink specials (4 for $12 buckets of beer, $2.50 Jaeger Bombs). If you're not in the tournament, it's FREE to attend and socialize - just show up. Fans, cheerleaders, and spectators are all welcome.

Tournament Cost: $150 per team through July 25th, $200 per team after July 25th.

Event Cost: Free to attend if you're not playing in the tournament and want to socialize (just show up the day of the event).
