October Speaker Breakfast with Rhett Ricart, CEO of Ricart Automotive

Everyone will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and what they do, and also listen to a local guest speaker offer information and advice on business, careers, and other topics. The event includes breakfast bagels, pastries, and coffee and costs $5 to attend for CYP CLUB members and guests (pay at the door). Be sure to attend and bring plenty of business cards.

About Our Speaker: Mr. Rhett Ricart graduated in 1978 with a degree in marketing from The Ohio State University. A lifetime member of the community, Mr. Ricart resides in Columbus and has three children. He is responsible for the operations of the three core Ricart Family businesses which include Automotive Retail Sales and Service, Central Ohio Credit Corporation and GPS World Tracking.

Rhett and the Ricart family have demonstrated considerable dedication to the Columbus community. Rhett assisted his brother, Fred, with the Scared Stiff/Bio Power program for children, a motivational, anti-drug program. Additionally, Ricart Automotive provides a new automobile to the Groveport High School Teacher of the Year as well as two College Scholarships for Groveport High School Seniors.

Mr. Ricart is a Board Member for the Columbus Sports Commission as well as a Trustee for the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association; Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority and an Advisory Board Member for Capital One Auto Finance in Dallas, Texas. It was for Mr. Ricart's contribution to the management and success of Ricart Automotive as well as his dedication to the Columbus community that The Ohio State University Business School chose him as the 1993 Ohio Business Person of the Year.
