November Lunch & Learn: Job Search Triathlon

The CYP CLUB Lunch & Learn series consists of monthly one-hour lunch sessions featuring a topical presentation on professional development, educational growth, personal enrichment, and/or community involvement. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, along with a new professional development program each month.

This month's topic is "Job Search Triathlon" presented by Janice Worthington, founder and president of Worthington Career Services.

Competitive résumés, getting in front of hiring managers, receiving job offers. These equate to the running, swimming and biking of the athlete’s triathlon. There is no paycheck for 2nd place. And this competition is enhanced by all of the available talent competing for your job!

Join Janice Worthington, Certified Professional Job Search Coach & Résumé Writer as she teaches how to outcompete in each event. Learn the basics of an appropriate, compelling résumé and learn to get to the forefront with the right people using traditional processes and social media. Janice will also focus on power interviewing, messaging, and closing a job offer.
