Culture Series: "Go Wild! for Opera"

Opera Columbus and the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium will be hosting their seventh annual "Go Wild! for Opera" event - an evening of music, animals and fun - on Friday, July 10 at 8pm. This year's concert, "One Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein and Andrew Lloyd Webber," will feature some of Columbus' favorite singers, including Sean Anderson, Benjamin Bunsold, Sarah Lewis Jones and Kate Tombaugh. Join emcees Cabot Rea and Chuck Gillespie for an exciting evening of music from some of musical theatre’s most beloved composers.

Throughout the evening you’ll enjoy music from Carousel, South Pacific, Oklahoma!, Evita, The Phantom of the Opera and many others. The event benefits two worthwhile community organizations: the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium and Opera Columbus.

This is one of the most exciting events of the summer and through the CYP CLUB Culture Series, discounted tickets are available for CYP CLUB members at $25 (normally $35). Tickets also include admission to the Zoo on July 10, 2009. Your ticket(s) will be available the day of the show for pick-up at Will Call at the Zoo.

We'll meet before the show at Digger & Finch Grille & Pub (6720 Riverside Drive, Dublin, OH 43017) at 6:00pm for some drinks and/or dinner as a group (and an extended happy hour just for our group until 8pm), before heading over to the show, which starts at 8:00pm.
