Saturday, February 13, 2010 will mark the third annual 'A Date 2 Remember' young professional date auction and fashion show for charity, presented by the Columbus Young Professionals Club.

Members of the Central Ohio community are invited to "make a date" for this unique event – one that combines a date auction with a fashion show featuring clothing from Columbus-area boutiques and shops. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit TWO local non-profit organizations: A Kid Again and Capital Area Humane Society. Last year more than 600 attended the event, which raised over $25,000 for charity.

This year's event will run from 7:00-11:00pm (doors open at 6:30pm) at BoMA (583 E. Broad St.) in downtown Columbus, where attendees can mix and mingle for charity. Doors open at 6:30pm for registration. The cocktail hour begins at 7:00pm (with food donated by local restaurants, a beer sampling booth, smoothie samples, and other exciting surprises). Food sponsors who will be donating appetizers and desserts include: Barrio, Bob Evans Restaurants, Due Amici, Dunkin' Donuts, J. Liu Restaurant & Bar, Mezzo Italian Kitchen, Pam's Market Popcorn, and Taste of Belgium.

At 8:00pm, get ready for an evening full of entertainment and fun as the date auction and fashion show begins. Date participants will walk on stage modeling clothing and jewelry from local boutiques, showcasing the best of Columbus fashion and style while offering the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind packages. The after-party will begin at 11:00pm at BoMA following the event.

CYP CLUB members who attended the event previously have said that "this is the CYP CLUB event of the year" so don't miss out!

Attire: Cocktail or dressy/casual (no jeans).
