The CYP CLUB Lunch & Learn series consists of monthly one-hour lunch sessions featuring a topical presentation on professional development, educational growth, personal enrichment, and/or community involvement. The cost to attend the Lunch & Learn event is $10 per person online or $15 per person at the door. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, along with a new professional development program each month.
This month's topic is "Twitter 101". Join us for an hour-long session that will leave you with a better understanding of the popular social networking site and how it has revolutionized communication. Learn what Twitter is, how people and businesses use it, why it matters and how to make the most of it.
Not sure if you should attend? Ask yourself these questions:
• Do you, or does someone you know, think that you just "don't get" Twitter?
• Are you curious about whether it can work for you or your organization?
• Do you feel like you hear about Twitter all the time, but admit you're not really sure why anyone cares so much?
• Have you thought about trying Twitter? Or, have you started an account that you haven't really touched?
• Do you find yourself wondering if you're "doing it right"?
If you answered yes more than once, this session is for you.
