Registration Closed
Online - $15.00
We've got discounted tickets for Opening Night to see "The Producers," performed by Columbus Children's Theatre's Summer Pre-Professional Company (ages 17-22) at their Park Street Theatre. Join other members of the CYP CLUB for this outrageous, hilarious, a teeny bit offensive, off-the-wall show (and the winner of a record 12 Tony Awards).
Before the show (from 6:30-7:30pm) we'll be at Park Street Patio (across the street) for a social meet-and-greet for attendees. The show starts at 7:30pm. If you are not planning to attend the pre-show meet-up, you may pick up your tickets at Will Call.
Cost: We have tickets available for just $15 each (which includes the pre-show meet-and-greet and saves you $2 on web handling fees) if you purchase online at www.cypclub.com!
Email culture@cypclub.com if you have questions.
About the Show: Mild-mannered accountant Leo Bloom goes to do the accounts of Max Bialystock, a failing Broadway producer. When Leo realizes that if you were really a dishonest person, you could make more money with a play that flopped than you could with a hit, Max persuades him to become his business partner, and they seek out the worst play in existence, 'Springtime for Hitler' by an unreformed Nazi called Franz Liebkind. Having secured the play, they hire the worst director they can find, and the worst actors. Surely nothing can go wrong with their scheme?
You will find yourself holding your sides with laughter as Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom sing and dance their way through the greatest show biz scam that there ever was!
