Join the CYP CLUB as we partner with the Downtown Residents' Association of Columbus (DRAC) for an exclusive event with our members and theirs at the Executive Dining Club at AEP (31st floor with amazing views) in Downtown Columbus from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2010.
Come enjoy great networking opportunities with community leaders and residents from DRAC as well as your fellow CYP CLUB members and friends, and get some great information about "The Future of Downtown Columbus." There will be presentations from DRAC President, Donna Carstens; CYP CLUB President, Derek Grosso; AEP's Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications, Rita Romine; and Chief Operating Officer for Capital South/CDDC, Amy Taylor.
Amy Taylor with Capital South will present a 30-minute PowerPoint presentation about the 2010-2020 Downtown Plan that was developed and recently adopted by Columbus city council.
The first hour of the event will focus on downtown presentation and discussion. The second hour will be more open/social networking.
Cost: We will be charging $5 per person, which will be donated to DRAC's 2012 special project. PLUS: Any CYP CLUB member who attends this event will receive a one-year membership in DRAC ($25 value) for free!
There will be complimentary food and drinks provided by event sponsor AEP. The attire is business casual. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!
Please Note: You will need to park downtown, go through security, and will be escorted via elevator to the 31st floor at the AEP Building. Please allow plenty of time so that we can start at 6:30pm!
About DRAC: The Downtown Residents' Association of Columbus (DRAC) is a non-profit social organization for residents, businesses, and guests who truly care about the growth and development of downtown Columbus because they live, work, and play there.
