Pre-Thanksgiving Pot Luck Dinner & Recipe Contest

The CYP CLUB is hosting our third annual group Thanksgiving POTLUCK dinner for members - one week before the holiday - at The Goat at New Albany Park! This is held the WEEK BEFORE Thanksgiving.

Here's how it will work: Look for the letter your last name begins with in order to find the type of dish you should bring to the dinner. Please abide by this rule otherwise it will be difficult to make sure we have a variety of dishes. Feel free to use the Internet to find creative recipe ideas!

A-F : stuffing, gravy, dinner rolls
G-M : a vegetable or salad dish
N-S : a fruit or pasta dish
T-Z : dessert

In addition to the above, please make sure you bring a serving utensil and put your name on all of the dishes you bring. If possible, try to use a hot and cold food carrier instead of bringing a Crock-Pot or anything else that would require electrical use. Lifestyle Communities will be offering attendees their first drink free (domestic draft beer) and great drink specials after that.

We'll be providing the turkey, plates, napkins, and utensils.

NEW THIS YEAR: Recipe Contest! A panel of judges will taste all the food that has been prepared by our members and offer prizes to the best prepared foods. No cost to enter or participate in this event.
