Volunteer with the CYP CLUB for Kick Butt Columbus! A Highway Ramp Clean-up
March 31st at 8:30am-12:00pm
Please help give back to the community in which you live, work and play! Join the CYP CLUB, Keep Columbus Beautiful and several other community partners for a neighborhood highway ramp clean-up on Saturday, March 31st from 9:00am-noon!
All participants will meet at Dodge Park (667 Sullivant Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215) at 8:30am the day of the clean-up, where volunteers will gather to meet, grab some coffee and light breakfast, and find their their team assignments. After a brief warm-up, teams will travel to their assigned ramp location and conduct their cleanup.
The CYP CLUB will be "adopting" several ramp sites to clean up. When you register, you will need to select one of these sites to volunteer with the CYP CLUB:
• I-70 Exit 95 (Hague Avenue)
• I-70 Exit 97 (W Broad Street)
• SR 315 W. Town Street
All supplies including trash bags, safety vests, pick-up sticks, site maps, liability forms, safety instructions and details on where trash bags will be collected shall be provided by Keep Columbus Beautiful. Volunteers may bring gloves, a leaf rake, and poncho in case of rain. Invite your friends, family and colleagues to participate! We're hoping to gather 500 volunteers to clean up Columbus' highway ramps.
Questions may be directed to Sherri Palmer or Robert Seed at (614) 645-2421 or by emailing keepcolumbusbeautiful@columbus.gov.
