Membership Benefits

At its heart, the CYP CLUB is about providing local young professionals and career-minded young adults with opportunities to connect with each other and the opportunities throughout the Columbus area. We promote career and business networking, social interaction, community service, local culture, and athletic participation. We hold a variety of events: some free, some with a fee to enter. Membership in the CYP CLUB is full of opportunities to socialize with other young business professionals, network with local business and community leaders, volunteer in the community, play on a sports team, find out about career advancement opportunities, and more. Here is a list of just a few of the benefits of being a member of the CYP CLUB.

BASIC MEMBERSHIP IS FREE
We don't charge any dues or have attendance requirements for our Basic Membership level, allowing you the flexibility to attend our events and activities based on your schedule and your preference.

PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP IS ONLY $50 PER YEAR
While Basic Membership is free, Premium Membership allows you even more access to the best professional development, social, athletic, and philanthropic programming in Central Ohio for only $50 per year. Being a CYP CLUB Premium Member pays! Adding up all the annual benefits, a Premium Membership has a value of more than $500 (including ongoing discounts and deals).

CONNECT WITH OTHER LOCAL YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
The CYP CLUB has grown to become - by far - the largest YP organization in Columbus, the largest in Ohio, and about the third largest in the entire United States.

As a CYP CLUB member we will ask you for suggestions on ideas and events and will work hard to give you the best member experience possible.

PROFESSIONAL AND FUN EVENTS - ON A WEEKLY BASIS!
The CYP CLUB hosts more than 150 unique events each year for our members, in addition to offering ongoing volunteer opportunities and assistance with great community events such as the Arnold Fitness Classic, Jazz & Rib Fest, Slice of Columbus, Taste of Grandview, and the YP Toy Drive for Kids.

ATHLETICS & RECREATION
The CYP CLUB also offers 14 different sports through athletic leagues and ongoing tournaments throughout the year - including sand volleyball, kickball, bowling, and softball. We recently added a golf clinic series and a biking club based on member feedback.

ARTS & CULTURE
A new CYP CLUB Culture Series has aligned our organization with more than two dozen local arts groups such as CAPA, BalletMet, Opera Columbus, and Experience Columbus (just to name a few) - to heighten the awareness of the arts among YPs throughout Columbus and provide support from the CYP CLUB to the future culture of our city.

CONNECTIONS
Due to our size and active participation in the community, we are offered discounts (and sometimes free passes) to shows, sporting events, and other opportunities - which we pass along to our members on a regular basis.

SERVE THE COMMUNITY
In the four years we have existed we have helped bring in tens of thousands of dollars in donations, raised awareness, and created volunteer opportunities for dozens of local non-profit organizations. If you want to have a hand in giving back to the community or saving the world, we can hopefully point you in the right direction.

YOU CAN HELP
Dozens of CYP CLUB members have been asked to serve on non-profit boards as a result of being a member of the CYP CLUB. And once a year, we host the Volunteer Info Fair - a casual, networking expo event offering attendees a unique opportunity to connect with dozens of local non-profit organizations and their representatives, as we raise awareness of volunteerism among our members and the entire YP community of central Ohio.

A DEDICATED STAFF MEMBER
In August of 2009, we added a full-time employee - our President and Founder, Derek Grosso - to assist the CYP CLUB even further. Through his vision and dedication, and with the assistance of our volunteer leadership team, the CYP CLUB will continue to develop, grow, and succeed for our membership and for the community at large.

A POSITIVE ORGANIZATION RECOGNIZED IN THE COMMUNITY
We're a big part of the community and have a very positive reputation! In February 2009, Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman issued a proclamation naming February 4th as "CYP CLUB Day" in the city of Columbus.
