1. Columbus Food Adventures
Every weekend, Columbus Food Adventures provide a true taste of the city with their wildly popular Food Tours, which take guests behind-the-scenes at a variety of eateries to dine and learn about the process behind the best in local food. The group will be hosting a plethora of events this weekend, with spaces still open on their Meat Lovers Tour Thursday (2/16), the Alt Eats ethnic food tour on Friday (2/17), Short North & Grandview Avenue Tours and an All Dessert Food Tour on Saturday (2/18), and their Brunch Tour on Sunday morning (2/19).
2. North Market Mix & Shake
Celebrate local drink and dining this weekend as Columbus favorite food spot, the North Market hosts its annual Mix and Shake spirits event on Saturday evening (2/18). This boozy bash will feature 8 different Ohio distilleries, music, and fresh food from dozens of local artisan vendors and kitchens inside the market. Proceeds from the event will benefit non-profits North Market Development Authority and the Ohio Distiller’s Guild. Bottoms up!
3. Taste of OSU 2017
Thousands of students and local foodies will flock to the OSU Student Union this Friday evening (2/17) for the 2017 Taste of OSU, a celebration of culture and eats from around the world. With involvement of over 50 international and ethnic student clubs, the event will feature cultural entertainment, exhibits, and authentic food provided by 30 different organizations. Learn something new, mix with a diverse crowd, and take your taste buds on a trip around the globe.
4. Grandview Ave. Block Hop & Chili Cook Off
Warm up with some hot & hearty home-cooked eats this Saturday (2/18) as Balboa hosts the 1st Annual Grandview Ave Block Hop & Chili Cook Off. Some of the city’s best food trucks will compete head-to-head to get their winning chili on a new menu at Grandview Café. Sample the good stuff, vote for your favorite, and explore the many bars, restaurants, and shops in the neighborhood.
5. Columbus Craft Cocktail Tour
The mixology experts at Behind the Stick will be hosting another of their weekly Craft Cocktail Tours this Saturday evening in the Weinland Park/Denison Place neighborhood. At this educational event, guests will take a guided tour of three locally owned bars for some finely crafted beverages, appetizers, and lessons from expert mixologists.
