Check out some of the best events going on in Columbus this weekend! (May 4-7, 2017):

1. Columbus Craft Beer Week
Columbus is a mecca for craft beer, boasting dozens of breweries in a variety of neighborhoods and quality beverages on tap in every bar. Celebrate this thriving industry as the official Columbus Craft Beer Week kicks off this Friday and runs through the week (5/12-5/20). In honor of the event, locations around the city will host parties and offer specials like tap takeovers, beer and meal pairing dinners, special-edition releases, and much more. 2. Gay St. Moonlight Market
Every second Saturday of the month downtown Gay Street becomes a bustling block party under the stars at Moonlight Market, returning once again this Saturday evening (5/13). The event will include over 75 outdoor vendor booths with artisans peddling everything from original artwork & handmade jewelry to candles & skincare. Guests can also stop in for late hours at the area’s brick-and-mortar stores, enjoy food & drink, and experience live street entertainment and music with the funky crowd of locals this events draws. There’s sure to be plenty of excellent people watching and countless unique treasures.

3. Taste of Dine Originals
Indulge all your senses this Thursday (5/11) as The Buckeye Ranch and Dine Originals Columbus host their annual foodie event Taste of Dine Originals at the Franklin Park Conservatory. Guests will be surrounded by lush, beautiful plants & flowers while they sample unlimited tastings of signature dishes and hand-crafted beverages from over 40 local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and distilleries. The event will also feature live music, a wine grab, silent auction, and raffle. Proceeds will benefit Dine Originals’ cause to celebrate local food and Buckeye Ranch’s efforts in care for high-risk kids & families.

4. Science on Tap at COSI
The city’s fantastic science museum COSI will host its boozy bash Science on Tap this Friday (5/12), giving area YPs a chance to stimulate both their minds and their taste buds. The event will welcome 15 different Ohio craft breweries & distilleries to hand out drinkable samples and demonstrate their methods to the audience. Guests can also catch several stage shows, hit the Planetarium, ride the High Wire Unicycle, and explore COSI’s many interactive exhibits without the daytime crowds.

5. The Flyover Fest
The city will get a healthy dose of creative energy this weekend as the brand-new Flyover Fest makes its debut Thursday through Saturday (5/11-5/13) at locations around town. This collaborative effort of local businesses like the Wexner Center for the Arts, Wild Goose Creative, and Used Kids Records, will highlight film, literature, and music, with events including concerts, film screenings & discussions, an Indie Book & Music Fair, and more.
