Here are our picks for the Top 5 events for YPs this weekend in Columbus (October 22-25, 2015):

1. Circleville Pumpkin Show
Only a 45-minute drive from Columbus, one of the biggest Pumpkin festivals in Ohio will be held this weekend Wednesday through Saturday (10/21-10/24) in Circleville. The family-friendly gathering originating in 1903 is back for another year to celebrate all things pumpkin with attractions including seven different parades, live sculpting and carving, live music, eating contests, and all the pumpkin-themed food you could imagine! Make sure to also check out the giant 6-ft wide pumpkin pie and the annual pumpkin contest winners, with gourds weighing over 1,000 lbs! More info

2. Full Moon Zip Line Tour
Soar through the treetops under the stars and full moon this weekend on a nighttime zipline adventure at ZipZone Canopy Tours. Follow your guide on a two-hour journey gliding platform to platform through the forest of Camp Mary Orton, at night! Registration is available for Friday and Saturday night (10/23-10/24) on ZipZone’s website. Although this event is held monthly, the October full moon tour will be the last until April, so take advantage now while the weather is still friendly! More info

3. Highball
One of the biggest and best costume parties in the city will take place in the Short North on Friday and Saturday nights (10/23-10/24) with the seventh annual Highball festival. An estimated 30,000 party-goers are expected at this massive event, where fashion and design are celebrated in the name of Halloween. Attractions include live music, costume shows and contests, street performers, and food & beverage. Hosted by Short North Alliance, proceeds from Highball go towards improving and maintaining the Short North District. More info

4. Boo at the Zoo
Even animals are getting in the Halloween spirit! The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium will be holding holiday festivities for all ages this weekend (10/23-10/25) with its Boo at the Zoo event. Guests are encouraged to wear a costume and explore the zoo’s specially themed exhibits including Super Hero Lagoon, Fogwarts Wizard Academy, Eerie Shores, and many more. Each area has its own unique set of fun, spooky activities including hay rides, animal attractions, live action shows, and plenty of other surprises! More info

5. COSI Costume Fun and Run 5k
Saturday morning (10/24) families will don their Halloween costumes and gather at COSI for the science museum’s Costume Fun & Run event. In partnership with local radio station, Mix107.9, this event will feature a 5k race and a one mile Family Fun Walk appropriate for all ages. Attendees will receive a t-shirt, food and drinks, and a general admission ticket to the museum. BONUS: Save $5 on race admission with code: cositeam. More info
