The Hot Chocolate Run is coming to town to benefit Make-a-Wish, and will welcome 10,000+ runners to downtown Columbus. This event is expected to raise at least $15,000 for local wishes and you can help along the race route!

What to Expect: CYP Club volunteers will be placed in the same tented area to hand out refreshments to runners. All volunteers will receive a Hot Chocolate Run hooded sweatshirt that is exclusively for volunteers — PLEASE SELECT YOUR SHIRT SIZE WHEN YOU REGISTER.

Who to Look For: This volunteer activity will be led by CYP Club Cares board member Bridget Tharp. Contact Kiley Landusky at 614-763-6247 or klandusky@oki.wish.org if you need more information about the cause.

What to Wear: Please dress for warmth and comfort.

Where to Park: Parking instructions will be sent out the week before the event.

About the Cause: Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.

Please make sure you are definitely able to attend before registering so we can maintain an accurate head count.

Contact us if you have any questions about this event.

Is there a central location at the park where we will be meeting you Bridget?

Bridget T.Premium MemberLeadership Team - Oct 9th 4:27 pm 2017

Brittany, thanks for volunteering! The week of the event you'll receive exact times for your shift. You absolutely can leave early if you must. We promise not to talk about you behind your back too much. JK

Do we need to attend the entire time? I'm happy to help but I may need to leave before 11
