CYP Club Cares is hosting a group volunteer activity to serve meals at the Faith Mission Community Kitchen. Each year, Faith Mission provides more than 83,000 nights of shelter to men, women and veterans who are experiencing homelessness - and you can help!

Please make sure you are definitely able to attend before registering so we can maintain an accurate and consistent head count.

What to Expect: As part of this service project, our volunteers will help prepare the dining room, serve meals to shelter guests, and clean up the dining room and kitchen.

A couple of notes for those wishing to sign-up:
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• Volunteers will not be fed.
• All visitors must go through security (metal detector and cursory bag check).
• Taking photographs is prohibited.
• All volunteers for this event will need to sign a liability waiver on site.
• After we volunteer we will go to a local brewery for food and beverages as a group.

Where to Park: Street parking is available, or park in the visitor lot for the shelter. Please secure your vehicle and leave valuables at home.

Who to Look For: This volunteer activity will be led by CYP Club Cares board member Bridget Tharp.

About the Cause: Each year, Faith Mission provides more than 83,000 nights of shelter to men, women and veterans who are experiencing homelessness and serves three meals a day to anyone who is hungry. Faith Mission operates the only kitchens in Franklin County able to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the year. They serve more than 600 meals a day (over 220,000 meals per year)! The Faith Mission Community Kitchen serves shelter residents as well as individuals from the community who need a meal, welcoming everyone, and placing no barriers between a person in need and available food.

Contact us if you have any questions between now and this event.
