CYP Club Cares will be joining the Ohio History Connection to bring the Ohio Village to life! Guests of the village will meet and interact with residents of Ohio Village (that’s you!) to learn how a Victorian Christmas was celebrated the and see their homes and businesses. Don’t worry, you will be taught everything you need to know prior to interacting with guests!

What to Expect: Volunteers will be assisting guests with creating crafts in the Toy and Bike shops.

Please make sure you are definitely able to attend before registering so we can maintain an accurate head count.

Where to Park: Please park in front of the village Welcome Center.

Who to Look For: CYP Club Cares board members Erin Morris and Ashley Tadla will be leading this event, so please look for them when you arrive.

What to Wear: Costumes from the 1890s will be provided, however shoes will not be provided. Please wear dark shoes or ankle boots – no sandals or tennis shoes please. Men should wear dark pants (no blue jeans) and your shirt will be provided. Women should wear solid, primary colored knee socks or tights. Please do not wear pants under your dress, as the legs show at the hem of your skirt.

About the Cause: This will be the Ohio History Connection’s 13th year for this program and they receive great compliments every year! Last year they had over 1,000 visitors through the village.

Contact us if you have any questions between now and this event.
