Join the Columbus Young Professionals Club and ColumbusBlack.com for a very important virtual event. We're hosting an interactive conversation on race and solidarity featuring several local community leaders, including:

Nick Bankston, President of the Columbus Urban League Young Professionals
Densil R. Porteous, Chair of the Create Columbus Commission
Kay Wilson, Director of Strategic Initiatives at IMPACT Community Action
Caroline Woliver, Director of Leadership and Social Justice at YWCA Columbus
LoLo, Chief Marketing Officer at The U
• Moderated by Derek Grosso, CEO & Founder of the CYP Club and Kevin Lloyd, Co-Founder of ColumbusBlack.com

We want to engage young professionals across the city to truly understand what is happening with the protests in Columbus - and across the nation - and to help support and build momentum for a change, including how to be an ally, registering to vote, having difficult conversations on race with friends and family, and more. Participants will be provided education and clarity, with access to thought-leaders in the African American community, and will come away with several actionable items to stand in solidarity.

To participate: Register here and you will receive an invitation link to join our virtual event on Zoom.

To watch: Visit facebook.com/cypclub/live on Tuesday, June 2 at 12noon to view the live stream.

This event is made possible with the support of CYP Club Cares, ColumbusBlack.com, Columbus CEO, CityPulse Columbus, Do Gooder Columbus, MYLE and Small Biz Cares.
