We recently released the new website for the CYP Club and, along with many of you, are very excited to continue the growth and development of the group for all of our 5,000+ members. In all the excitement we wanted to officially inform you about some updates, new features with the website, and answer some questions we have received.
MEMBER PROFILES – As we move to the new website, we will need all members to re-submit a member application through the online profile. Doing this allows you to control your profile (i.e. update your e-mail address, work information, preferences, etc.) and gives us a better sense of what the membership would like us to offer. PLEASE NOTE: Your profile CANNOT be viewed by any other members at this time, nor will it ever be without your approval. We may offer online networking and/or a membership directory in the future, but not without your consent.
PRIVACY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION – We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties or send junk mail to members. This has always been our policy and always will remain a strict policy of the CYP Club.
CONFIRMATION OF MEMBERSHIP – Your membership application cannot be approved without a valid e-mail address. If you have had trouble receiving our emails, please make sure you adjust your Spam or Bulk Mail filters to receive messages from us. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please contact Kristin Mele, VP of Operations, here.
PHASES OF GROWTH – The release of the new website is one of several phases of development for the organization as it exceeds 5,000 members. We want the CYP Club to grow with and for YOU, and have planned future growth around member feedback we’ve received over the past several years. The next phase of the website will include member-only events, member benefits, and other special programs. The final phase will include online networking opportunities and/or a membership directory for those who are interested. More information on these two phases will be announced online and through e-mail as details are finalized.
REGISTRATION FOR EVENTS – In the past, registration for events has been difficult to manage for leadership and for members. We've streamlined the method to register and even pay for events and athletic teams online at the click of a button and securely through PayPal.
We've gotten some tremendous feedback over the past year, and want to continue to provide positive social and networking opportunities for Columbus area young professionals into next year and beyond. Remember, this organization is very member-driven and we want you to get the most out of the CYP Club as possible.
