It's one thing to be robbed of physical possessions. Cars, money, and "stuff" can all be replaced.
But when someone is robbed of their memories, that's something entirely different. Loved ones become strangers. Experiences become unfamiliar stories. Memories and people's lives cannot be replaced once stolen. It's the ultimate crime.
The thief? Alzheimer's disease.

After a two-year international search, David Danzmayr stands poised to take the reins as ProMusica's new artistic director—only the second appointment to the position in the chamber orchestra’s 34-year history.
While most orchestras rotate through conductors every 3-5 years, ProMusica has held firm to its practice of consistent leadership at the top level. Now, after a 34-year tenure - one of the longest, if not the longest, in U.S. history- Co-Founder and Music Director Timothy Russell will step down at the end of this season and pass the baton to the new Maestro - 33-year-old David Danzmayr.
