OUR EVENTS

As a regional hub for emerging leaders, the CYP Club focuses on providing accessible programming and partnerships that boost careers, community, conversations and culture for all.

Throughout the year, the CYP Club calendar is full of professional & fun events for our members to make connections with one another while getting to know Columbus. We also host volunteer efforts to give back - totaling more than 5,000 volunteer hours each year - and offer a variety of recreational sports leagues each season. Some events are free while others have a fee to attend. Attendance can range from a few dozen to a few hundred (or even a few thousand) attendees, depending upon the event.

Signature Events & Experiences

A Taste of Columbus is our annual networking celebration featuring dozens of food & drink stations, live music & art, interactive activities, and a brief awards program recognizing “Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals” as we celebrate all things local. Usually hosted in March with 400-500 attendees.
The Columbus Volunteer Expo is a year-end opportunity to mingle with local non-profits on the hunt for volunteers, new board members, and supporters. Usually hosted in November with 200-300 in attendance. Learn more
Columbus Volunteer Fest is a springtime community event that welcomes attendees of all ages to interact with local nonprofits, learn how to get involved, and enjoy live music, activities, food trucks, and more. Hosted in May.
The Columbus Emerging Leaders’ Summit is a platform for enthusiastic, smart, and active young professionals (and ERGs) from across Central Ohio to connect for success. Usually hosted in September with 100-120 in attendance.
The Next Up Columbus Awards feature an evening of networking and celebration with young Columbus leaders who are making a positive impact on the future of our city. Usually hosted in June with 200-250 attendees.
The Executive Luncheon is an interactive mentoring event that facilitates the exchange of success stories between young professionals and C-Suite executives. Hosted twice a year in February and in August with attendance of 100. Learn more
WISE is a quarterly series of event experiences featuring inspirational speakers & storytellers, engaging workshops, meditation sessions, and more. Normally hosted in January, April, July, and October with 100 attendees each time. Learn more

Coffee Talk Networking

Monthly morning conversation where we chat with business leaders and entrepreneurs. Attendance is usually 30-40 each month.

Member Mixers

Social networking event for members and friends that rotates to different bars, restaurants, and venues around town. Attendance is usually 80-100 each month.

The Grandview Hop

Summertime night market series produced by the CYP Club that runs from June through September along Grandview Avenue. Attendance is 4,000+ each month.

Coffee with a Cause

Morning conversation where we chat with community leaders and let you know how to get more involved. Attendance is usually 20-30 each month.

Women of Inspiration Summit

Meet-and-greet group dinner series where we check out the Columbus dining scene while making new friends through icebreaker games. Attendance is usually 30-40 each month.

The Executive Luncheon

Interactive roundtable experience that matches emerging leaders with C-Suite executives to share success stories. Attendance is usually 100 for this semi-annual event.

Cocktails with a Cause

Evening conversation where we chat with community leaders and let you know how to get more involved. Attendance is usually 40-50 each month.

Cocktails with a Cause

Assembly of local nonprofits and board service resources for young professionals to get more involved in the community. Attendance is usually 200-300 for this annual event.
