Columbus Impact Academy
The Columbus Impact Academy is a fifteen-week community impact and leadership development program facilitated by the CYP Club twice per year, in the spring and fall. Participants work together to discover a sense of place and purpose while getting to know Columbus and gaining valuable perspective on team bonding, access to key community leaders, board service, exposure to opportunity, and much more.
Launched in 2018, the curriculum offers a comprehensive experience for emerging leaders focused on interactive and engaging sessions that bring focus to individual, group and community needs.

Next Up Columbus Awards
Previously know as “Young Professionals to Know,” the Next Up Columbus Awards highlight emerging leaders who are connectors and cheerleaders in central Ohio and who are making a positive impact on the future of our city. Since its inception, we have recognized more than 175 outstanding emerging leaders, with profiles published in our annual Young Professional’s Guide to Columbus.
The Next Up Columbus Awards are presented with support from Discover Financial and Zipline Logistics.

Wonderful Workplace Awards
An annual awards program and networking event, Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals are presented each year to 40 local employers who are deemed the best places to launch and grow a career for emerging leaders, nominated by CYP Club members in categories of Coolness (Attraction), Stickiness (Retention), Community Impact and Growth Opportunities.
The Wonderful Workplace Awards are presented with support from Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO).
CityPulse Columbus
CityPulse tells the Columbus story through neighborhoods, nonprofits, and notable people. It is available for free as part of a citywide distribution that reaches new residents, new hires, young professionals, graduate students, local employers, community leaders, charities & arts organizations, and special events. Weekly features also appear at CityPulseColumbus.com.
Once a year, the Young Professional’s Guide to Columbus is produced with support from Columbus City Council and the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
