Beyond events, the CYP Club offers a variety of experiences that continue to advance careers, community, culture and conversations for young professionals across central Ohio.

Columbus Impact Academy

The Columbus Impact Academy is a six-month leadership development experience, facilitated by the CYP Club from September through February, designed to help emerging professionals find their place and purpose in Columbus. Over 12 dynamic sessions, participants build connections, strengthen team-bonding skills, engage with influential community leaders, explore nonprofit board service, and gain exposure to new opportunities all while tackling individual, group, and community challenges.

CityPulse Columbus

CityPulse Columbus, published by the CYP Club, is your go-to guide for discovering what makes Columbus an incredible place to live, work, give, and explore. Our online platform and special edition print magazines highlight the city’s top workplaces, inspiring nonprofits, and rising young professionals. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, CityPulse connects you to the people, places, and experiences that make Columbus truly unique.

Crash Course Columbus

Crash Course Columbus offers new-to-Columbus residents a fresh and entertaining look at our community. Each Crash Course event program will allow participants will connect with other young professionals and local connectors in the Columbus area while learning about many of the wonderful resources the city has to offer! Crash Course Columbus is meant to introduce new residents & recent hires to Columbus and keep them engaged in a variety.

CYP Club Cares

As the 501c3 nonprofit arm of the Columbus Young Professionals (CYP) Club, CYP Club Cares supports initiatives that activate public spaces, elevate local artists and small businesses, expand access to civic engagement, and create meaningful opportunities for residents to connect, give back, and belong. Through collaborative, people-first experiences, we aim to build vibrant neighborhoods, foster social impact, and inspire the next generation of community leaders.

Next Up Columbus Awards

The Next Up Columbus Awards are presented annually to a group of emerging professionals who are changing the course—and the face—of our city and our region for the better. The program includes an exciting summer networking celebration welcoming hundreds of attendees, a special edition print magazine (The Young Professional’s Guide to Columbus) with profiles of our honorees, and spotlights on with top places to live, work, and give. The Next Up Columbus Awards are presented with support from the Columbus Chamber and Huntington National Bank.

Wonderful Workplace Awards

Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals are presented to local employers who are among the best places to launch and grow a career in central Ohio. Nominated by CYP Club members in categories of Coolness (Attraction), Stickiness (Retention), Community Impact, and Growth Opportunities, the honorees are celebrated at our annual “A Taste of Columbus & A Toast to Wonderful Workplaces” networking event in the spring. The Wonderful Workplace Awards are presented with support from BBB of Central Ohio and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO).
