This month’s program, Community Safety Engagement, features four local leaders who are helping Central Ohio think differently about what safety really means and how we create it together. From neighborhood connection and restorative practices to civic engagement, public service, and regional planning, this conversation brings together the people doing the work from the ground up and the systems level.
Hear from Vanesa Mora, Neighborhood Liaison with the City of Columbus, who works directly with residents and neighborhoods to strengthen civic connection; Corrin Williams, Founder/Owner of Corrin Rose Restorative, who brings a restorative approach to conflict, accountability, and healing; Chet Ridenour, Founder of Good Neighbor Network, who is focused on building stronger relationships between neighbors; and Jordan Petrov, Senior Planner with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, who brings a regional perspective on how planning, mobility, and community design influence safety and quality of life.
Moderated by Mallory Workman, Community Relations Specialist at the Delaware County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Board Member at CYP Club Cares, this discussion will offer fresh perspective, real-world experience, and practical ways to get involved in creating safer, more connected communities across Central Ohio.
