Columbus Emerging Leaders’ Summit

The CYP Club is proud to present the 10th annual Columbus Emerging Leaders’ Summit 2023, a three-hour leadership experience that brings together passionate, smart, and engaged young professionals from all across Central Ohio to connect and grow while learning from local speakers and thought leaders.

This year’s summit will be hosted at Franklin University’s Ross Auditorium in downtown Columbus on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 8:30-11:30am in partnership with Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO).   • 8:30am - Arrival, Morning Connections, and Breakfast & Coffee

  • 9:00am - Welcome & Kickoff Speaker

    • Shara Hutchinson, Founder and Chief Change Strategist at Xposeyour, a TEDx Speaker, and author of Barefoot in the Boardroom: Every Leader's Guide to Navigating Change

  • 9:30-10:30am - Leadership in Real-Time Talks

    We will present back-to-back speakers at different life stages (and in order of age) to showcase a real-time progression of leadership. Speeches will last for 5-7 minutes each and will showcase stories of accomplishment & learning with leaders representing teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s, including:

  • 10:45-11:15am - Speed Mentoring Sessions

    Attendees will have the chance to meet and learn from several local executives during a rotating mentor access session every 10 minutes; 10:50-11am, 11am-11:10am, and 11:10am-11:20am. Our roster of mentors for 2023 includes:

COST TO ATTEND: An "early bird" summit pass is $19. On September 1st the price will increase to $29 and on September 27th it will increase to $40 until we are sold out. Tickets include access to all speakers & presentations, mentoring & networking, light breakfast & coffee, and free parking. Water, coffee, and snacks will be available throughout the morning.

Venue and parking: Our event will be hosted at Franklin University’s Ross Auditorium (Alumni Hall). Summit attendees & speakers may park for FREE in Lot C or A. View the campus map.

This event will sell out, so don’t wait until the last minute to register! Attendance for this event will be capped at 100 to allow for maximum interaction between our attendees and executives. Attire is business or business casual.

    Lisa Dillon is currently a HR Business Partner with Philadelphia Insurance with 13 years of HR experience and currently serving a 2nd term VP of Membership role for their PHLY PHORUM Toastmasters Club. She completely her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Gwynedd Mercy University in Pennsylvania and holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, walking, gardening and home interior designing projects.

    Jordan Keiser is a seasoned Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) professional with more than 15 years of experience in spearheading transformative initiatives across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs Manager at Quantum Health in Columbus, Ohio, she has taken a leadership role in shaping the company's DEI strategy to align with organizational goals and values. As the primary advisor and consultant for DEI practices within the organization, Jordan collaborates with leaders across the business to craft strategies, policies, and programs aimed at attracting, retaining, and diversifying the workforce and client base while fostering an inclusive culture. She has effectively managed and provided guidance to Employee Resource Groups and Executive Sponsors throughout her career.

    Before joining Quantum Health, Jordan served in various impactful roles within many organizations, such as Nationwide, Hunting Bank, Lbrands and City of Columbus Mayor's Office of Diversity and Inclusion. It was with the city, where she is most proud of bringing her idea to fruition and overseeing the very first Govern D&I Symposium in 2020 for the City of Columbus.

    With a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and a Marketing Promotions minor, earned Magna Cum Laude from Franklin University, Jordan combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on experience. Outside of work, she is a huge foodie and loves to try new places, enjoys cooking, and volunteering within her community. She has over 10+ years volunteering with Columbus Humane and Youth to Youth International. As a dedicated advocate for diversity and inclusion, Jordan is poised to continue driving meaningful change and fostering inclusive environments wherever she goes.
