Discover the heart of Columbus through a guided bus tour of Downtown neighborhoods, landmarks, parks, and historic theaters.
As the largest city in Ohio, Columbus is home to a dynamic mix of state government, business, culture, green space, and historic districts. This experiential field trip takes you through the landmarks, history, and civic institutions that define the city — offering insight into its roots, challenges, and evolving opportunities for leadership and growth.
The tour will be led by Doug Motz, author of four books on Columbus history and a Past President of the Columbus Historical Society. Doug has led tours for CBUS City Adventures, Leadership Columbus, the Columbus Landmarks Foundation, and more, bringing a deep and engaging perspective to the experience.
Along the way, you’ll gain a curated understanding of Columbus’ development while connecting with others exploring the city.

About Crash Course Columbus
Crash Course Columbus is a 3-month cohort experience (April-June) designed to help new residents and young professionals explore neighborhoods, build connections, and get plugged into the Columbus community through curated experiences across the city.
Participants in the full program attend all six sessions as part of their enrollment.
