The Scioto Arts Market (SAM) is a downtown pop-up event featuring makers, bakers, art, food trucks, nonprofits, and more from May through October (monthly, Saturdays from 11 AM - 3 PM). This brand-new outdoor series, produced by the CYP Club, is designed to foster creativity, community, and connection in downtown Columbus. Spread the word… and join us along the scenic Scioto River every month. All SAM events are free to attend!
What can you expect at the Scioto Arts Market? Attendees will enjoy a family-friendly open-air community event hosted monthly in the parking lot at the National Veterans Memorial & Museum in downtown Columbus. Admission is free and everyone’s invited! And as an added bonus, admission to the National Veterans Memorial & Museum is COMPLIMENTARY (normally $11-18) on Scioto Arts Market days!
Parking: Downtown Columbus and the Franklinton Arts District offers hundreds of free and paid parking options including ADA accessible spaces and electric charging stations. There is also on-site parking at NVMM. We encourage COTA bus and rideshare options (Lyft, Uber, CoGo), and for those who are able, you can walk, bike, or carpool too!
The Scioto Arts Market is produced and managed by the Columbus Young Professionals Club in collaboration with the National Veterans Memorial & Museum, Downtown Columbus Inc, Wild Goose Creative, Greater Columbus Arts Council, and BBB of Central Ohio.
