Thank you for your interest in being a nonprofit vendor at the Columbus Volunteer Fest, a springtime community event hosted by the Columbus Young Professionals (CYP) Club with support from COhatch, Columbus Underground, BBB of Central Ohio, and the Greater Columbus Arts Council. We rely upon each nonprofit partner to help make this event a success.
Volunteer Fest is a brand-new community event that offers attendees an opportunity to learn about dozens of local nonprofits while enjoying live music, activities, food trucks, and more. Similar to our Volunteer Expo in the fall, Volunteer Fest is free to attend and all are welcome! We expect hundreds of attendees of all ages to join us at COhatch Westerville on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Nonprofit organizations will be stationed both inside the venue and outside on the lawn. If the weather does not cooperate on Thursday, May 23, the event will be rescheduled to Thursday, May 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Volunteer Fest features 10’ x 10’ spaces (indoors and outdoors) for nonprofits to showcase their volunteer opportunities, board service openings, upcoming events, and more. Additional event features include live music, food trucks, interactive games/activities, and free parking. In addition to this event, there is a bonus opportunity for you to be featured in our Citywide Charity Guide, set for a June 2024 print publication!
PLEASE NOTE that your reservation for the Columbus Volunteer Festival is not confirmed until you have paid in full. VENDOR FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
When you applied, your nonprofit organization should have confirmed if you can bring one or more of the following: a 6’ or 8’ folding table, or a small standing pub table, chair(s), or a pop-up tent. Your responses to these questions will help us determine your assigned placement at COhatch. This information will be provided to you ahead of the event. Aside from these items, you are encouraged to bring promotional literature, pull-up signage, a table skirt, activities for attendees, sign-up sheets, clipboards, and pencils/pens. Small giveaways are also encouraged!
ALSO NOTE that while Wi-Fi will be available for nonprofits to connect their devices during the event, there will be NO ELECTRICAL OUTLETS or extension cords available for use during the Columbus Volunteer Festival. Please do not bring technology that requires electricity.
Set-up Time: Nonprofit organizations attending the Columbus Volunteer Festival should begin arriving at 4:30 p.m. Set up will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., with guests arriving at 5:30 p.m. (Food trucks should arrive between 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
You will receive an email the week prior to our event detailing the specifics of your assigned location.

• $50 for a 10' x 10' area at Volunteer Fest (May 23)
• $150 for a 10' x 10' area at Volunteer Fest (May 23) PLUS Half-page feature article in our Citywide Charity Guide (print guide released in June 2024)
• $250 for a 10' x 10' area at Volunteer Fest (May 23) PLUS Full-Page feature article in the Citywide Charity Guide (June 27)
• $500 for a 10' x 10' area at Volunteer Fest (May 23) PLUS Full-page feature article in the Citywide Charity Guide (June 27) PLUS a Full-page ad in the Citywide Charity Guide (June 27)
*Vendor fees help cover event promotions, staffing, music and entertainment. VENDOR FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT THEY MAY BE TRANSFERRABLE. Tables, chairs, and tents are NOT provided. You must bring your own!
