As part of our ongoing Coffee with a Cause series, we assembled a phenomenal panel of community leaders to participate in a conversation focused on “Supporting New Americans & Refugees in Columbus.” Abdikhayr Soofe, New American Program Coordinator for the City of Columbus; Carrie Bollentino, Director of Speech Services at Columbus Speech & Hearing; Dianna Russell, Director of Advancement, Marketing and Communications at ETSS Tewahedo Social Services; and Teresa Temu, Education Programs & Outreach Lead at US Together, Inc joined us for a discussion on the refugee experience, immigration services, and community support efforts for New Americans, including cultural and workforce integration.
