CYP Club is partnering with Besa on Monday, January 19th to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through conversation and meaningful action. We'll spend the morning assembling supply kits for youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio -- providing essentials that help kids thrive. Then we'll gather for lunch and a panel discussion exploring how service amplifies the work of youth-centered nonprofits.
Schedule:
10:00am-11:30am -- Volunteer project (assembling supply kits)
11:30am-1:00pm -- Lunch and panel discussion
Dr. King said, "Everybody can be great because anybody can serve." The panel, moderated by Rhea Cunningham, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio, will explore how community service strengthens organizations serving young people and creates pathways for all of us to contribute to a more equitable future.
You'll leave with new relationships, deeper understanding, and a clear sense of how your time creates real impact.
Parking: The BGCCC lots may be full. There is both free street parking on Gibbard Avenue and you may also park for free in the large Rogue Fitness lot directly across the street.
